Companies dealing with nursing and laboratory supplies in the wholesale or the foreign trade sector can become a member of the VGKL, if they are entered in the trade register and the company owners respectively the responsable managers can prove a qualified commercial training; alternatively, they must have acquired the necessary special knowledge by working for six years in respective companies. Furthermore, the companies have to operate a stock-equipped as usual in the trade concerned- meeting the demands of the local conditions.

Foreign companies, meeting the conditions mentioned above, may achieve an extraordinary membership. The entire "Performance Programme" is at their disposal.
